Gargrave Reserves 2 – 0 Bradley FC
August 28, 2008
Gargrave looked a much more balanced side in their second game of the season. The defence remained solid, well marshalled by the experienced Adrian Eyles and complemented by a solid performance from Richard Scott. The young legs of Mattie Simpson in attack caused many a problem for the oppositions back men.
Gargrave scored a goal in each half. The first came from Harry Thompson, a one on one with the keeper, slotted into the bottom left of the net. The second goal came courtesy of assistant manager Sam Ashby with a well placed header.
