Trawden Celtic 3 – 1 Gargrave AFC Reserves

March 8, 2009

Conditions were difficult to say the least when Gargrave visited Trawden Celtic on Saturday. The strong winds and driving rain hampered the play for both squads.

Trawden were looking for a result after their  O – O draw at the last meeting back in October, and early on in the game they notched up their first goal. Gargrave were quick to reply with a free kick from Mark Webb on his first outing of the season.

Trawden began to take control of the game, scoring two  more to give them a 3-1 cushion.

Goal keeper, Adam Hudson impressed the hosts who awarded him the man of the match award, but for his endeavours the score may have been greater.
