Games Off….

The frost and then overnight snow on Friday have claimed both team games on Saturday 18th December.

A very Happy Christmas to everyone.

First team game- 18th December

The first team will be at home on Saturday 18th December vs Embsay FC. Kick Off 2.p.m. ( weather permitting ).

Premier Division League Cup: Gargrave 1 – 4 Waddington

Gargrave worked hard to get the game underway on  Saturday after the bad spell of weather.At one point the pitch looked a lot drier than the floor of the pavilion but fortunately  Mr. Chairman was able to do some emergency repairs to a burst pipe and so it was game on.

It was not a classic game from either team but it was Waddington who were able to convert their chances. Gargrave were to rue their many missed opportunities though Richard Orme was on target with a well taken goal.

The first team will have a fixture on the 18th but the league have not released any as yet.

Cancellation……

The Reserves away game at Bradley on the 11th December is cancelled due to a water logged pitch.

A decision will be made on the home game vs Waddington in the Premier league cup on Saturday morning after a pitch inspection.

A Change to Fixtures….

Just checked the League Website ( fortunately ) and the Reserves have now been given a fixture for the 11th December:

Bradley  FC  Vs  Gargrave Reserves

What a surprise….

The  Division Two League cup game vs Earby Town scheduled for Saturday 4th December has been cancelled due to the adverse weather conditions and the First team had no game organised.

December 11th – The First team are at home in the Premier Division League cup vs Waddington. Kick Off 1.30.  The Reserves are away at Bradley for a league game. Kick Off 2.p.m.

December 18th – The Reserve Squad are away at Embsay in the Norman Pratt Trophy. Kick Off 1.30.p.m.
