ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING ……

Please try to come along to the Annual General Meeting which will be held in the Cricket Pavilion on Tuesday 18th June at 7.30.p.m.

This is an important meeting as we need to discuss whether we can run two teams in the forthcoming season. Two teams are already entered into the Craven Leagues constitution, the first team in Division One and the Reserves in Division Two ( the Reserves have not been relegated as some new teams have been brought into the League ). To pull a team out now would incurr a hefty fine from the league but if we struggle to raise a Reserve side each week this is costly in itself, a cancelled fixture would incurr a £25.00 fine each time it happened with points awarded to the opposition. Are we better running just the one side with a good pool of players to choose from ? Can players commit themselves to playing each week or are some happier to fill in for the one team when needed?

Simon , last years Reserves Manager has unfortunately had to hand his notice in due to increased work commitments. He has done a marvellous job over the past season, stepping in last year at short notice. He had problems on occasions last year raising a full side. Have we any new players coming in?

Please come along and discuss the situation and give your views.

Old and new players always welcome at the club, please contact Chappie or Dan for Registration forms if you are a new player or advise them that you would like to continue playing for the club by arranging to sign the Rolling Registration form if you played last year.

Help always required in the form of volunteers to carry out maintanence on the ground, repairs, and general help at the game, again please come along to the meeting and volunteer.
