Pendle Renegades 0 – 2 Gargrave AFC

October 20, 2013

Gargrave faced Pendle for the second time in seven days, this time in the Craven FA Craven Cup. They got off to a good start when some sloppy defending by Pendle allowed Josh Town a free rein to play a majestic ball through to William Beckwith who fired home past the keeper. Pendle piled on the pressure but were unable to penetrate the Gargrave defence.

Gargrave doubled their lead before half time when some good attacking play led to Andy Seddon who squared the ball to Christian Moon who fired into an open net. Pendle continued to push forwards but again struggled to break through the defence.

The game ended with a 2-0 win for Gargrave and their third successive clean sheet.
