Almost the end of the Season….
April 11, 2011
With only a small number of games remaining it will soon be time for Dennis to finalise his years accounts. Please will anyone with any subs outstanding pay them up todate. There have been more expenses incurred this year with plumbing bills and the loss of our line marking sponsor so it is important that everyone remembers to pay their subs. There are also a number of fines outstanding which need to be repaid to Caroline, she has paid them to the West Riding County Football Association on your behalf so please see her if you think you have any cautions . A yellow card is a £10.00 fine ( seven outstanding ), one sending off also outstanding at £25.00.
A rolling registration list is circulating, please will all players who would like to remain with the club for the next season, sign and fill in the details. Aidie has the list at the moment.

Game switched to Gargrave…..
February 19, 2011
The Craven FA Norman Pratt Quarter final game between Embsay Reserves and Gargrave( Saturday 19th February ) will now be played at Skipton Road, Gargrave. The pitch at Embsay is suffering a bit due to the weather conditions. There will be a pitch inspection at Gargrave around twelve noon.
All players invited back to The Masons Arms, Gargrave for after match hospitality.
Ighton Leigh game off…..
February 12, 2011
Unfortunately the game away at Ighton Leigh was called off this morning ( Sat 12th Feb ) at 11.30.a.m. The Ighton Leigh match officials were as disappointed as anyone and offered to play the game at Gargrave. This was not an option as the First team will be playing at home. Their ground is at Shuttleworth College, Burnley road, Padiham so any decisions on games going ahead or not going ahead are taken out of Ighton Leighs hands. Hopefully this game will be re-scheduled for a Saturday as an away fixture of this distance for night games is not really workable.
Why not come down and watch the First team who are playing at home vs WFC Clitheroe, are they on a late roll of wins ( Gargrave that is )?????
Cup News for the First team….
January 17, 2011
A small number of Craven FA Games went ahead on Saturday. Unfortuantely the Reserve team game against Embsay Reserves was one that fell foul of the weather, therefore their quarter final Norman Pratt trophy game will now take place at Embsay on Saturday 19th February. 2.p.m kick off. ( please note this game is not a Craven League game, the two teams will still play league games and they are due to meet for one of those at Gargrave on Saturday 22nd January ).
The second round of the Craven FA Craven cup fixture between Barnoldswick Town 2nds and Grassington did go ahead with Barnoldswick the runner away winners with a 5-0 scoreline. Baroldswick Town will play host to the Gargrave first team in the quarter final stages of the cup on Saturday 19th February. 2.p.m kick off.
